Welcome to the World of Cenayu,
Dr. Vajira is a devoted clinician and researcher specializing in Natural Product Chemistry and has extensive experience in clinical studies. With specialized training in clinical pharmacology focused on natural products, he has worked in various healthcare, educational, and industry settings for over three decades. After graduating with honors in BAMS from the University of Colombo in 1991, he pursued further studies and earned a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1996. This unique educational background provided him with a deep understanding of both Ayurveda and modern pharmaceutical sciences. He gained practical experience through medical residencies at prominent hospitals and research institutes. Concurrently, rotations at modern pharmaceutical institutions helped build a solid foundation in medical research with over 35 years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Chemist and a Consultant. He pursued fellowship medical training from prestigious universities and institutions in India, Malaysia, China, and Switzerland. Worked as a consultant to the IUCN and role as a Consultant cum Senior Scientist at the Quality Assurance Laboratory Complex, National Ayurveda Research Institute, Ministry of Health and Nutrition focuses on quality assurance to ensure the quality and safety of Ayurvedic products, which is crucial for public health.
He also, worked in various government, multinational, and international organizations. He has also held notable roles as a Consultant in top-ranked pharma and has been actively involved in professional associations related to pharmaceuticals and medicine. His dedication to research is evident through the publication of numerous research papers and articles in national and international conferences and journals. Noteworthy achievements include being the first MD (Ayu) recipient in Pharmacology from the University of Colombo and receiving prestigious awards for contributions to medicine and research. His commitment to ethical practices in biomedical research is demonstrated through participation in specialized training programs and international courses. Recently, he was honored with the SCA Award for Nutrition and Food Security from Griffith University, Australia, in 2022, further highlighting contributions to healthcare and natural product research.

As the great Chinese proverb wisely states, “A journey of a thousand steps starts with but one single step.” Reflecting on our growth since our inception in 1998, I am amazed at our progress and resilience in the face of challenges and threats.
I hold a Diploma, Certificate, and Advanced Diploma in Entrepreneurial Business Management from the Department of Entrepreneurship at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Currently, I am pursuing a Masters in Entrepreneurial Business Management at the same university.
With nearly 30 years of experience in the industry, both as a manager and owner of this business, our focus lies in servicing the industrial sectors and individuals of the country as a printing business entity. Our journey began in 1988 in Piliyandala, grounded in a business model supported by three pillars.The first pillar is a strong belief in the strength of a decentralized management model with a widespread regional reach. The second is an obsession with providing our clients with the best combination of time, cost, and quality. The third pillar, without which the first two wouldn’t exist, is an unwavering conviction in recruiting, developing, and retaining the best human talent.
Our core business thrives on synergies through a diverse customer base, and we deliver products that are application and performance driven. This commitment propels us to stay on the cutting edge of innovation and technology, providing a strong platform for exponential growth in the long term.

With over 35 years of experience working with young learners, my early childhood education expertise stems from my role as a director in the San Francisco Bay Area. Additionally, I held a real estate license in the same area, further broadening my skill set and understanding of the local market dynamics. My AMI degree in Montessori education underscores my commitment to nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning.
Driven by a desire to broaden my horizons and make a broader impact, I made the transition to the international business field. One of my notable achievements includes serving as a liaison for Sri Lankan Ayurvedic supplement sales between the Sri Lankan and American markets. Leveraging my background in education, real estate, and international sales, I’ve embraced new challenges and opportunities with enthusiasm and determination.
